- partnering closely with Engineering, R D, Manufacturing, and Project Management, and reporting to our Corporate Quality Engineering team. You'll lead nonconformance investigations, drive resolution of quality issues, and champion continuous improvement across the full ACB product lifecycle
- work that directly protects our customers and strengthens the Siemens name in the market. You will make an impact by: Own end-to-end quality for Air Circuit Breakers (ACB) across the region
- serve as the single point of accountability for ACB quality, spanning design, manufacturing, and field performance. Be the customer's trusted point of contact
- manage quality issues directly and keep customers confidently informed at every step. Lead cross-functional investigations into customer complaints
- drive focused problem-solving teams to root-cause analysis and corrective action that actually sticks. Own field escalations end-to-end
- containment, failure analysis, corrective/preventive action, logistics, and the feedback loop that keeps issues from recurring. Champion product safety
- ensure compliance with applicable standards, regulations, and internal quality requirements across the full product lifecycle. Lead product quality resolution
- identify problems, evaluate solution options, and implement action plans, partnering with manufacturing on long-term corrective action and stronger processes. Turn data into action
- monitor product quality KPIs, customer input, and production feedback, and open actions with key customer stakeholders. Drive continuous improvement
- share lessons learned and best practices across the factory network as a senior quality voice. Shape new products from day one
- engage early in development, apply risk-based quality planning, and support
DFMEA/PFMEA
to catch failure modes before they reach the field. Bridge the origin factory, European R D, and the Dallas facility- own quality topics across all three, keeping design intent and regional execution tightly aligned as ACB products move from concept to production. Partner with the Dallas plant quality group
- work together with the factory-facing quality team, complementing their on-the-ground execution with regional, product-line ownership of ACB quality. Guard the process
- enforce disciplined change management and assess quality impact before any design or process change is approved.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (or advanced degree) Technical understanding of electrical power systems and power distribution/circuit protection products 8+ years in engineering and quality, with a proven track record in quality management or quality engineering Strong auditing skills and solid knowledge of manufacturing practices Sharp analytical skills and excellent problem-solving ability Exceptional written and verbal communication, with a genuine commitment to excellence, integrity, and innovation A high-energy, collaborative style that works well across departments and cultures The composure to manage challenging situations calmly and professionallyTravel:
