Build your legacy at TTL Construction Quality Assurance Technician - Atlanta, GA and Tuscaloosa, AL Starting pay $24.50/hour - Experience Required $1.50/hour raise and $300.00 spot bonus upon completion of Geosynthetic Certification Institute-Inspectors Certification Program (GCI-ICP) within first 3 months. Description:
Provide CQA Services on CCR and Landfill projects including but not limited to Clay and Geosynthetic Liner Inspections. Monitors, observes, and samples the materials used in construction work. May assist with or conduct Construction Materials Testing services. Represent the company at professional and/or client meetings. Monitors, observes, and samples the materials used in construction work. Prepares daily reports and data sheets. Operates with close to moderate supervision. Must possess a high level or verbal and written communication skills to be successful in this role. TTL is also willing to train qualified individuals. Requirements:
Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent. College coursework or degree preferred. Emphasis in physical sciences and/or math. Minimum of 3 years of Construction Materials Testing or Construction Quality Assurance Experience. Must be able to evaluate test results and identify different soils types. Ability to communicate professionally orally and proficient in writing skills. Must understand basic documentation and reporting procedures. Valid driver's license and good driving record. Perform heavy lifting up to 50+lbs and ability to work in seasonal conditions (hot, cold, rain, etc.) May be required to work off-hours and weekends, travel overnight in state and out of state may be required (70% overall). Per Diem and lodging package provided.
Preferred:
Certified of ability to certify for the Compacted Clay and Geosynthetic Liner Inspector (GCI-ICP) course within 6 months. NICET Level II Soils certification or ability to obtain within 6 months. Radiation Safety Training
OSHA 40 HAZWOPER
training a plus. Ability to use Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, etc.) Ability to quickly learn how to use additional software/online applications.
