Job Summary We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Inspector to join our team on the first shift. This role is essential in ensuring that all manufactured products meet rigorous quality standards and comply with industry regulations. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in quality inspection within manufacturing environments, demonstrating strong mechanical knowledge and proficiency with precision measuring instruments. As a key player in maintaining our quality systems, you will perform detailed inspections, analyze data, and support continuous improvement initiatives to uphold our commitment to excellence. Responsibilities Conduct thorough dimensional and visual inspections of products using precision measurement tools such as height gauges, micrometers, calipers, and coordinate measuring machines (CMM). Interpret mechanical blueprints, manufacturing documents, and production specifications to verify product conformity. Perform quality audits and inspections in accordance with
ISO 13485, ISO 9001, GMP
(Good Manufacturing Practices), and FDA regulations to ensure compliance with all regulatory standards. Utilize vision inspection systems and other advanced measurement instruments to identify defects or deviations from quality standards. Collect and analyze data related to quality metrics, documenting findings accurately for review and reporting purposes. Support calibration of measuring instruments and ensure adherence to calibration schedules for precision measurement tools. Assist in root cause analysis for quality issues and collaborate with production teams to implement corrective actions aligned with HACCP, CGMP, and other regulatory requirements. Skills Extensive experience with quality inspection processes within manufacturing environments. Proficiency in using measurement instruments such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, GDT (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), and coordinate measuring machines (CMM). Strong understanding of
ISO 13485, ISO 9001, GMP, FDA
regulations, and other regulatory/legal compliance standards relevant to manufacturing. Knowledge of quality management systems (QMS) including QA/QC procedures and quality audits. Mechanical blueprint interpretation skills coupled with a solid understanding of GD&T principles. Familiarity with vision inspection systems and precision measurement in machining processes. Ability to interpret production documents accurately and perform dimensional measurements consistently. Excellent analysis skills to identify root causes of defects or non-conformances. Basic math skills for data collection, measurement calculations, and statistical analysis. Effective communication skills for documenting findings clearly and collaborating across teams.
