Reports To:

Quality Manager What You'll Do As a Quality Inspector, you'll play a critical role in maintaining our commitment to quality by: Inspecting precision sheet metal and machined components to verify compliance with engineering drawings, specifications, and customer requirements. Performing incoming material inspections to ensure purchased materials meet all purchase order and quality requirements. Preparing and completing First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs) from customer and internal documentation. Utilizing a variety of precision measuring equipment, including calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and gauge pins. Verifying flat patterns using Amada FabriVISION systems for laser and punch press operations. Supporting continuous improvement initiatives and maintaining compliance with quality management standards. What We're Looking ForRequired Qualifications High School Diploma or GED. Minimum of 1 year of quality inspection experience in a manufacturing environment. Experience inspecting incoming and outgoing products to blueprint specifications. Ability to accurately use common inspection and measuring equipment. Preferred Qualifications Training or experience with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing). Experience using Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) and/or Optical Comparators. Experience creating and reviewing First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs). Familiarity with AS9100D quality standards and audit processes. Skills & Abilities Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and tolerances. Knowledge of GD&T principles and inspection techniques. Basic trigonometry skills. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
