Position Overview:

We are seeking a hands-on and technically skilled Stainless Steel Operations Technician to support the manufacturing, assembly, testing, and documentation of stainless steel containers used for the delivery of ultra-pure materials in semiconductor manufacturing processes. The technician will primarily process stainless steel containers supporting the M Forward program and perform activities such as container assembly, leak testing, particle testing, moisture testing, equipment operation, and documentation. Most work is performed in a cleanroom environment , requiring strict adherence to cleanliness, quality, and safety procedures. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude, investigative and troubleshooting skills, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn technical manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Build, process, test, and document stainless steel containers of various sizes. Perform leak checks, particle checks, and moisture checks using specialized testing equipment. Perform container builds and prototype builds as required. Read, understand, and follow written and verbal work instructions. Read and interpret technical assembly drawings, electrical schematics, and P&IDs . Perform disassembly and assembly using hand tools, electronic tools, and other manufacturing equipment. Troubleshoot basic electromechanical issues. Test container hardware and electrical components. Interpret gauges, measurement devices, and test equipment. Understand fluid flow through systems and the effects of opening and closing valves. Operate semi-automated washing and drying equipment. Maintain accurate and concise manufacturing and testing records. Document daily activities according to established procedures. Follow cleanroom protocols and established quality requirements. Identify job-related safety hazards and communicate concerns to management. Work collaboratively with manufacturing, engineering, quality, and other team members. Provide input and support for prototype container builds and process improvements. Participate in continuous improvement activities as required. Safely lift and handle materials weighing up to 50 lbs. Minimum Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required. 2+ years of electromechanical assembly experience. 2+ years of experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on technical skills. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings. Ability to follow detailed work instructions and manufacturing procedures. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word . Strong attention to detail and accurate record-keeping skills. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work effectively in a team environment. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Willingness and ability to work in a controlled cleanroom environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with SAP . Knowledge or experience with helium leak detection . Previous experience using torque wrenches . Chemical industry, semiconductor, or related manufacturing experience. Familiarity with P&IDs and electrical schematics. Experience with container, vessel, or stainless steel equipment assembly. Knowledge of Continuous Improvement methodologies . Strong troubleshooting and investigative skills. Good interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills. Growth mindset with a demonstrated willingness to learn new technical processes.

Schedule Flexibility:

After an initial two-week structured training period, employees may have flexibility to start between 7:00 AM and 9:00
