In this role, you will be the cornerstone of ensuring our products meet the highest quality standards and regulatory requirements. Your expertise will help maintain our reputation for excellence by conducting precise inspections, analyzing data, and implementing quality assurance protocols. Duties Perform dimensional and visual inspections using precision measuring instruments such as height gauges, coordinate measuring machines (CMM), and vision inspection systems to verify product conformity. Interpret mechanical blueprints, manufacturing documents, and technical drawings accurately to ensure production aligns with design specifications. Conduct quality audits throughout the production process to identify deviations from
ISO 9001, ISO 13485, GMP
(Good Manufacturing Practice), and other regulatory standards. Utilize calibration procedures for measuring instruments and ensure all tools are maintained in optimal condition for accurate measurements. Collect, analyze, and document data related to product quality, measurement results, and inspection outcomes to support continuous improvement initiatives. Collaborate with manufacturing teams to address non-conformances, implement corrective actions, and verify their effectiveness. Ensure compliance with FDA regulations, HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point), CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practice), and other legal standards governing production environments. Skills Proficiency in using Calypso software for data collection and analysis within quality management systems. Strong understanding of
ISO 9001, ISO
13485, GMP, and FDA regulations related to manufacturing quality assurance. Experience with dimensional measurement tools such as height gauges, coordinate measuring machines (CMM), and vision inspection systems. Mechanical knowledge including interpretation of mechanical blueprints and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing). Ability to perform quality audits and assessments across various stages of production. Familiarity with measurement instruments like dial indicators, height gauges, and precision measuring instruments. Knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality standards in production environments, and regulatory/legal compliance standards. Excellent analysis skills for identifying root causes of defects or deviations. Basic math skills necessary for precise measurements and data analysis. Strong communication skills for documenting findings clearly and collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
