Build the Future of Aerospace as a Quality Tech 3 - Join CPP Cudahy! Consolidated Precision Products (CPP) in Cudahy is currently looking for a Quality Tech 3 to join our team! This role will be reporting to our Quality Manager on 1st Shift at our Aerospace Manufactory in Cudahy, CA. This is a great opportunity to join a growing company that has been in business for over 30 years! Hourly Rate:
$30 - $35
Essential Job Responsibilities:
Accurately review product documentation to issue and sign a certificate of conformance. Maintain QMS document Point and libraries Initiate and manage document review workflows for Quality, Engineering, and Operations Revise part specific manufacturing techniques for Quality specific items Communicate effectively with production, quality, and engineering teams to resolve quality issues. Manage supplier documentation and approved supplier lists
Required Qualifications:
Must be a U.S. Person as defined by U.S. export control laws (U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee) to comply with applicable government regulations including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). High School Diploma or GED, or equivalent certification/work experience in quality control/inspection role in a production environment. 1+ years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment in a quality control or inspection role, or other applicable industry related work experience. Familiarity with AS9100 specification and requirements
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with aerospace specifications (AMS, MIL, AS, ANSI, customer specific) Familiarity with detail part drawings Familiarity with AS9102 First Article Inspection packages
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Occasional flexibility regarding schedule for potential staggered shifts to meet production demand preferred. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to speak, read, understand, and adhere to work instructions and standard operating procedures in English. Proficient in MS Office, specifically
MS Word and Excel Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Familiarity with ERP or MRP systems Ability to use, read, and interpret handheld dimensional measurement devices (i.e. vernier calipers, dyer calipers, radius gages, etc.) This is a non-management position This is a full time position
