CMM Programmer/Operator Location:

Fairfield, CA Shift:

2nd Shift, Monday-Friday, 3pm-11:30pm

Up to $37.17/hour

Duration:

6+ month contract We are seeking an experienced CMM Programmer/Operator for a precision manufacturing and aerospace environment in Fairfield, CA. This is a hands-on quality inspection role supporting the inspection of parts, assemblies, raw materials and finished components to ensure they meet drawing and specification requirements.

Responsibilities:

Create, edit and validate CMM inspection programs using CMM Manager or comparable software Perform dimensional inspections using CMM equipment Interpret engineering drawings, GD&T and inspection requirements Complete first article inspections and certification/document review Use comparators, hand gauges and other precision measurement equipment Record and maintain inspection data for evaluation and reporting Support calibration activities and maintain calibration records Train and assist team members with CMM operation and programming Perform finished product inspections and support cross-training as needed

Requirements:

4-8 years of CMM inspection experience Experience programming and operating CMM equipment Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T Experience with comparators, precision measurement, FAI and certification review High school diploma or equivalent Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. Ability to pass a vision and color-perception exam U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder required due to ITAR restrictions

Preferred:

Aerospace or other highly regulated manufacturing experience SAP experience TSPACE Plus Portable Measuring Arm programming and operation experience Flexibility for occasional overtime or weekends
