Job Description:
Exceed your potential with Volt! Volt is immediately hiring for a 1st Shift Electronic PCB Inspector in Lake Forest, CA. As a PCB Inspector, you will: Perform visual and dimensional inspections on electronic assemblies, including PCB assemblies, metal parts, plastic components, and box-build enclosures. Inspect solder joints, component placement, finishes, and overall workmanship using magnification and measurement tools. Measure critical dimensions and verify part alignment using calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, and other precision instruments. Document inspection results by completing inspection reports and nonconformance reports, including reject and rework dispositions. Ensure compliance with customer requirements, IPC standards, J-STD standards, ISO 9001, and internal quality procedures. Support quality inspections across both PCB-related and mechanical components within the EM department. This is a full-time, contract-to-hire opportunity.
The ideal candidate will have:
3-5 years of Quality Control experience in PCB Assembly manufacturing. Experience working in electronics, aerospace, or semiconductor manufacturing environments. Strong knowledge of IPC-A-610, IPC-A-620, and
J-STD-001
standards. Hands-on experience using electronic and mechanical inspection tools such as magnifiers, microscopes, calipers, and multimeters. Knowledge of
ISO 9001
quality systems and safety practices. Active or prior J-STD certification. Background in electronics manufacturing environments similar to EMS or PCB assembly operations.

1st shift, 7:30 AM - 3:30
PM Pay Rate:
