Position Overview The primary responsibility of the Inspector 3 is to conduct advanced mechanical inspections by troubleshooting independently in regards to technical CMM issues. Role and Responsibilities Able to create and troubleshoot CMM programs utilizing PC-DMIS Able to operate manual and automated CMMs Able to operate Laser Tracker utilizing Verisurf software Strong Understanding of GD&T and Blueprint reading Able to fill out inspection reports (AS9102 & Net-Inspect) Perform FAI to validate new or revised parts Able to use inspection equipment (
Ex:
caliper, height gage, micrometer) with ease Perform receiving inspection on finished & in process parts, hardware, and raw material Able to create nonconformance reports within ERP system Work and engage directly with Quality Manager on quality issues Performs other duties as assigned by the Quality Manager Qualifications and Education Requirements One year certificate from college or technical school; or seven (7) or more year's related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred Skills Language Skills:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively with others.
Mathematical Skills/Reasoning Ability:
Trigonometry experience and skills.
Software Skills:
Knowledge of CATIA, PC-DMIS, Verisurf and MS-Office.

Monday-Friday, 1st shift, 6:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m.
Pay:
$35.00 - $40.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
