QUALITY INSPECTOR

for our client in Compton.

Hourly Pay:

Starting at $28.00

Schedule:

1st shift

FULL TIME

Responsibilities:

Perform program independent inspections, validations, and/or verification of assigned items to ensure compliance to processes/procedures and contractual obligations Perform dimensional inspection, verifying length, width, thicknesses, checking for markings/part numbers Support QC areas as QC Inspector - areas may include receiving inspection, assembly, machine shop, electrical, welding, testing, document pre-screen etc. May need to interface with suppliers and/or customers

Qualifications:

2-4 year experience as a QC Inspector Certifications in GD&T, Quality Inspection, relevant ASQ areas, or college degrees in Quality Assurance, Engineering, or other technical fields are a PLUS Must have a beginning level understanding of hardware blueprints (notes, features, views, tolerances etc.) and basic knowledge of specifications and contractual requirement obligations HS diploma or GED certificate Ability to handle physical workload (ability to lift up to 40 lbs) Strong communication skills (able to read, write, and speak English) Able to perform elementary math skills Strong work ethic MUST be able to work well with others Able to perform basic computer tasks and have basic typing skills
