We are seeking a hands-on Quality Technician to help ensure maintenance, repair, overhaul, and field service work is completed safely, accurately, and in compliance with customer and regulatory requirements. Position Summary The Quality Technician provides direct quality support to aftermarket service teams in service shops, shipyards, and field locations. This role performs inspections, verifies documentation, maintains objective quality records, and supports first-time quality initiatives to ensure customer requirements are met. The successful candidate will be comfortable working where the work is performed, rather than in a laboratory environment. Responsibilities Work directly with service technicians in field and shop environments to ensure quality documentation is accurate, complete, and submitted on time. Perform and document hands-on inspections of products, components, and services using standard measurement and test equipment. Prepare inspection reports and maintain complete, traceable quality records. Verify compliance with drawings, specifications, quality standards, customer requirements, and procedures. Ensure measurement and test equipment is properly calibrated and suitable for inspection activities. Support root cause investigations, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives. Assist with internal and external audits and support

Quality Management System requirements. Collaborate with operations, engineering, technicians, customers, and quality personnel to resolve quality concerns. Travel domestically and occasionally internationally to support customer projects and service activities. Required Qualifications High School Diploma or GED. Minimum of three years of hands-on experience as a Quality Technician, Quality Inspector, or closely related role in manufacturing, field service, shipyards, military, industrial, or service shop environments. Working knowledge of

quality systems. Experience using measurement and test equipment and understanding calibration requirements. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, GD&T, and acceptance criteria. Experience preparing inspection reports, objective quality evidence, and quality documentation. Strong attention to detail, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Ability to work safely in industrial, service shop, shipyard, and field environments. Ability to travel up to 75%. Important Qualification Requirement Candidates must possess practical, hands-on inspection experience in an operational environment. Laboratory-only inspection experience does not meet the minimum qualifications for this role. Preferred Qualifications Associate degree or technical education. ASQ Certified Quality Technician (CQT) certification. Experience with mechanical and/or electrical systems. Military quality assurance, maintenance inspection, shipboard, propulsion, nuclear, aviation, or related technical experience.
