Job Description

Building awesome gaming PCs is what Skytech Gaming does, but that's just part of the equation. As a QA Technician at Skytech Gaming, your job will be to put your knowledge of PC software and hardware to the test! If you're passionate about PC Gaming and love to learn about the latest in technology, we want you to use that to your advantage, ensuring that our pre-built PCs are up to our standards as enthusiasts.
Main duties include:
  • Testing computer systems to identify any hardware or software issues
  • Repairing computer systems to ensure perfect functionality
  • Define checklists for inspection in addition to our existing QC certificate
  • Inspect products for build accuracy, quality, and inclusion of accessories, written materials
  • Work with CS, IT, and RMA departments to define checklists based on common failures and sales-return reasons, providing data for research and development
  • Consult production processes with the production manager for refinement and improvements
  • Assist assembly teams during downtime
  • Assist RMA in computer repairs during holiday seasons
  • Other duties as necessary for a new position
Qualifications:
Required:
  • Technical Interview
  • Familiar with all components that compose a computer system
  • Ability to assemble and disassemble a computer system with little to no training
Preferred:
  • Passion for both PC gaming and hardware
  • 1+ years of formal PC repair experience
  • 1+ years of formal QA experience preferred
  • Exceptional communication skills, written and verbal
  • The ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Eagerness to learn and improve
Job Type:
Full-time Pay:
$19.00 - $24.00 per hour
