JWP is an

ISO 13485

2016 and AS9100D certified manufacture of Medical Device, Aerospace, and Defense components. The candidate will be performing a variety of Inspections Department duties.

Job duties include:

• Performing In-Process, Receiving, Special Process, First Article, and Final Inspections of precision machined components and assemblies.
• Electronically document In-process, Final, and Receiving Inspections.
• Perform First Article Inspection using AS9102 format.
• Creating Non-Conformance reports.
• Operating Coordinate Measuring Machine.
• Communicate inspection results to the Manufacturing and Inspection personnel. Requirements
• Proficient at using measuring tools such as (not limited to) optical comparators, microscopes, surface roughness testers, calipers, micrometers, and height gauges.
• Knowledgeable in Geometrical Dimensioning and Tolerancing.
• Zeiss Calypso CMM programming or operations experience is preferred but not required. Training will be provided to the right candidate.
• Have the ability to work without supervision.
• Able to adjust to priority changes within a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbally and electronically.
• Reliable, with own transportation and a current California Driver's License.

Hours :

Hours are negotiable. One to two Saturdays a month, depending on workload.
