Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Food Quality Specialist and play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of food safety, quality, and regulatory compliance across our manufacturing processes. You will be responsible for conducting comprehensive quality audits, implementing quality assurance protocols, and maintaining rigorous adherence to industry standards such as GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), FDA regulations, and ASME codes. Your expertise will help uphold our commitment to delivering safe, high-quality food products to consumers worldwide. This position offers a unique opportunity to influence quality systems, support continuous improvement initiatives, and ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements. Duties Perform detailed quality audits and inspections throughout the production process to identify deviations from established quality standards. Develop, implement, and monitor QA/QC procedures aligned with food safety regulations and industry best practices. Collect and analyze data related to product quality, process performance, and compliance metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement. Conduct regular quality control checks using appropriate tools and techniques, including visual inspections and sampling methods. Ensure all manufacturing activities comply with regulatory standards such as FDA regulations, GMP guidelines, and ASME codes & standards. Maintain accurate documentation of quality inspections, audit reports, non-conformance reports, and corrective action plans. Promote a culture of quality awareness by training staff on proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), safety protocols, and quality procedures. Requirements Proven experience in quality assurance or quality control within a manufacturing environment, preferably in the food industry. Strong understanding of food safety standards, regulatory compliance (including FDA regulations), and GMP practices. Familiarity with quality systems such as HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) or
ISO 22000
is highly desirable. Proficiency in data collection tools and analysis skills to interpret inspection results effectively. Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office applications for reporting and documentation purposes. Ability to perform thorough quality audits, inspections, and analysis with attention to detail. Commitment to safety protocols including proper PPE use during all inspection activities.
