They are seeking a talented QC Inspector with First Article Inspection experience to join their team!

1st Shift | Monday-Friday | 7:30am-4:00pm
Pay Rate:
$20 - 26/hour
DOE Position Overview:
As a QC Inspector with First Article Inspection experience, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and compliance of our products. You will be responsible for conducting inspections and tests on a variety of components and products to ensure they meet established quality standards and specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
First Article Inspection (FAI): Perform comprehensive First Article Inspections in accordance with AS9102 or industry-specific standards, ensuring that the first production run of a new part meets all engineering, design, and customer requirements.
Inspection and Testing:
Conduct visual inspections, dimensional measurements, and functional tests on parts, components, and finished products to verify compliance with specifications and quality standards.
Documentation:
Accurately document inspection results, maintain detailed records, and generate inspection reports. Ensure that all documentation is complete, organized, and in compliance with regulatory requirements.
Non-Conformance Management:
Identify and report any non-conformities or discrepancies, and work with cross-functional teams to implement corrective and preventive actions.
Calibration:
Ensure that inspection equipment and measuring instruments are properly calibrated and maintained to ensure accuracy in measurements.
Process Improvement:
Collaborate with engineering and production teams to provide feedback on quality issues and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Compliance:
Stay up-to-date with relevant industry standards, regulations, and best practices to ensure that quality control processes remain in compliance.
Safety:
Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
Qualifications:
Candidate must be ITAR compliant. High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical or quality-related education is a plus. Proven experience as a QC Inspector, with a strong emphasis on First Article Inspection . Knowledge of quality control principles, methods, and tools. Familiarity with AS9100 or other industry-specific quality management systems is a plus. Proficiency in using measuring instruments and inspection equipment. Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Ability to work independently and in a team environment. #PROD1
