Our client, aerospace manufacturing is seeking a Mechanical Quality Inspector to join their team. As a Mechanical Quality Inspector, you will be part of the Quality Department supporting manufacturing and inspection processes. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.

Shift:
5:30am- 2:00pm What's the Job? Perform quality inspections throughout the manufacturing process, from raw materials to finished goods Identify and document material defects and workmanship issues using visual, mechanical, dimensional, and functional inspection techniques Initiate nonconformance material reports (NCMR) and generate Certificates of Conformance (CoC) Read and interpret engineering drawings, SOPs, and written instructions with proficiency in GD&T (ASME
Y14.5-2009
) Ensure all inspection activities are properly documented and follow GDP practices What's Needed? At least 1 year of GD&T experience with hands-on application, not just blueprint reading Proficiency with mechanical inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, comparators, and indicators Experience with CMM programming and operation, preferably with Mitutoyo MCOSMOS software Technical training or equivalent work experience in a related field Strong understanding of aerospace quality standards such as AS9100/ISO9001, SPC, FMEA, and related industry standards is a plus What's in it for me?
