Responsibilities:
Inspect and support electrical reviews on wide variety of equipment and products Interpret and work from technical assembly prints to wire and install electrical components, switch gears, electrical switches and electronic instruments and devices, such as programmable process controllers (PLCs), data loggers, relays, breakers and other electronic instrumentation equipment used in the manufacture and repair of electrical power stations and equipment to determine quality and reliability standards are met Ensure all equipment has been properly calibrated and meets electrical code/design specifications Perform in process inspections throughout entire production process & conduct visual and measurement tests Conduct final inspection of finished product(s) to confirm all operations have been completed to IE /customer specification Communicate changes to quality process/procedures with Manufacturing Manager and team leads. Assist in the collection of process turn backs; lead effort in determining analysis of root causes and implement corrective actions. Work closely with the manufacturing and engineering team to ensure all documentation is completed
Requirements:
HS diploma or GED plus three years of relevant industrial/commercial electrical experience plus two years quality control/inspection experience Working knowledge of three phase power systems, motor controls, drives, low voltage controls, PLC's Working knowledge/use of electrical test equipment, e.g. multimeter, Volt-Ohm meters, Hi-pot, calipers Must have working knowledge of applicable electrical codes: e.g.
NEC, MSHA
Ability to read, understand and follow electrical diagrams and prints Must have general PC skills including email, internet, data entry and
