Paid Parental Leave Quality Technician-Electrical Inspection Details:
Direct Hire position $52,000.00 to $66,560.00 /annually Second Shift (Monday through Thursday from 03:00pm to 01:30am) Perform electrical quality inspections on MCC buildings, E-Houses, power centers, pump stations, and other industrial equipment to ensure compliance with customer specifications, electrical codes, and design standards. Review technical drawings and assembly prints to verify proper installation, wiring, and functionality of electrical components, PLCs, switchgear, relays, breakers, and instrumentation throughout the production process. Conduct in-process and final product inspections, including visual and measurement testing, to confirm quality, reliability, calibration accuracy, and completion of all manufacturing requirements. Investigate quality issues by leading root cause analysis, implementing corrective actions, managing non-conformance concerns, and driving continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing operations
Quality Technician-Electrical Inspection Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required, along with 3+ years of industrial/commercial electrical experience and 2+ years of quality control or inspection experience. Strong working knowledge of 3-phase power systems, motor controls, drives, low-voltage controls, PLCs, and electrical testing equipment (multimeters, volt-ohm meters, hi-pot testers, calipers). Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, diagrams, and blueprints, with strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and attention to detail skills. Knowledge of and commitment to electrical safety standards and codes, including OSHA, MSHA, and NEC requirements. Proficient with basic computer applications (email, Excel, data entry) and able to safely operate hand tools, forklifts, cranes, and hoists while performing the physical demands of the role, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
