DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Technician / Quality Engineer to support quality operations within an aerospace manufacturing environment. This position may be filled at either the Technician or Engineer level based on the selected candidate's education, experience, and qualifications. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with manufacturing inspection processes, engineering drawings, dimensional requirements, and quality documentation. This role will support the inspection and verification of machined, fabricated, and assembled components while helping maintain established aerospace quality standards.

Key responsibilities include:

Perform First Article, in-process, and final inspections of manufactured components. Verify the dimensional and visual conformity of machined, fabricated, and assembled components. Read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T). Generate, complete, and maintain accurate quality and inspection documentation. Support compliance with AS9100 quality requirements. Identify and document product or process nonconformances. Prepare and maintain nonconformance reports and related quality records. Participate in root cause investigations and corrective action activities. Support the control, calibration, and proper use of inspection and measurement equipment. Work collaboratively with manufacturing and quality personnel to maintain product conformity and established quality requirements.

REQUIREMENTS

Quality Technician Level:

5+ years of manufacturing and/or inspection experience. Experience performing dimensional and visual inspections in a manufacturing environment. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T. Experience maintaining inspection and quality documentation.

Quality Engineer Level:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Quality Engineering, or a related field. 3+ years of quality experience within aerospace or precision manufacturing. Experience interpreting engineering drawings and GD&T. Experience supporting quality documentation, root cause investigations, corrective actions, and nonconformance reporting.
