$17-$18/hour Responsibilities Perform incoming, in-process, and finished-product inspections and quality testing. Inspect and document raw materials, components, production batches, and finished goods. Create and maintain specifications, SOPs, work instructions, quality records, and other documentation. Manage samples, retains, standards, customer approvals/rejections, and pre-production samples (PPS). Send samples to external analytical labs and track customer responses and microbiological results. Review, approve, scan, and archive batch and fill tickets. Perform quality testing, including water, production, finished-product, and kettle microbiological testing. Verify scales and ensure equipment is properly calibrated, including pH meters and viscometers. Monitor and record temperature and humidity, including stability chamber conditions. File and follow up on CAPAs, quality issues, corrective actions, waivers, SDSs, and related technical documentation. Support batching reformulations, reworks, customer rejections, and production quality activities. Maintain organized and accurate quality records and follow applicable procedures and standards. Qualifications High school diploma/equivalent; 2+ years of quality-related experience preferred/required . Experience with chemical/cosmetic manufacturing, sampling, testing, inspection, measurement techniques, specifications, and standards. cGMP knowledge preferred; ISO 9001/audit experience preferred. Strong computer skills and ability to perform accurate mathematical calculations. Detail-oriented, organized, reliable, self-motivated, and able to prioritize and multitask. Able to follow written and verbal procedures and work independently or as part of a team. Strong communication and record-keeping skills. Associate degree preferred. Must be willing to learn and grow in a quality/manufacturing environment. Physical Requirements Able to lift up to 40 lbs. without assistance. Able to stand, climb, bend, crouch, lift, and reach for up to 8 hours per day .
