Job Description
MicroRam is recruiting for a Quality Control Inspector in our Warehouse department. Attention to detail, efficiency, and excellent time management are key to this position's success. Must be able to work with very small and detailed product while sitting for long periods of time. Position will not work on an assembly line. Responsibilities and Duties Visual inspection of microelectronics, integrated circuits and semiconductors. Counts, measures, and researches products to verify the contents of shipments against bills of lading, invoices, and purchase orders. Working daily with a microscope and magnifying glass to comprehensively inspect incoming products, ranging from integrated circuits, electronic components, resistors, capacitors, and board-level components. Complete detailed worksheets provided to identify discrepancies in the incoming and outgoing products. Documents data obtained during all quality inspection activities, consistent with company policies and quality certifications. Communicates significant issues identified during the inspection. Overall cleanliness and organization of the department. Qualification and Skills Candidate must have 1-2 year's previous quality control or inspection experience. High school diploma or GED required. Good vision with the ability to work with small parts and sit for long periods. Able to lift to 40 pounds. Strong computer and data entry skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Works well independently. Detailed-oriented and self-motivated. Ability to shift priorities based on daily department needs.
