JOB DESCRIPTION

Quality Technician General Summary:

The Quality Technician is chiefly responsible for assisting in maintainng compliance with and improving our quality systems (international, industry, and customer-specific standards, environmental standards, etc.). Additionally, document control duties such as requirements to identify, store, protect, retrieve, retain, and disposition system documents and records as per ISO-9001 and

TS-16949. RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist in maintaining compliance to international, industry, and customer-specific quality standards.
• Assist with leading and maintaining the internal audit processes.
• Maintain Master Document and Responsibility Metrics.
• Audit and update documents, as needed, then process for re-approval.
• Maintain legible, readily identifiable, relevant versions of applicable documents at point of use.
• Receive and process request(s) for documents.
• Update documents and create templates.
• Maintain public accessible and controlled archive records on the server.
• Train employees on records management procedures and policies, which include documentation, retention, retrieval, destruction, and disaster recovery.
• Assist with file migrations and audits, and perform administrative tasks as needed.
• Maintain Deviation and other QMS-related records for accessibility.
• Other duties as assigned.

COMPETENCIES

• Must be expertly proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and MS Outlook (email).
• Experience with other corrective action and problem-solving techniques a plus.
• Displays effective interpersonal skills sufficient to build positive, productive, and effective professional working relationships with customers and employees.
• Skill in finding information, locating travelers, and performing correct data input.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to self-motivate and work through information gathering with little supervisory input.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience with ISO document control.
• High volume manufacturing environment experience
• Advance knowledge of English to read and write
• High School or G.

E.D. equivalent required.
