DuPage Machine Products, a progressive precision turned parts manufacturer in the mobile fluid hydraulics industry, has an excellent opportunity for an for an experienced Quality Assurance Calibration Technician to work in a state of the art quality lab involved with the inspection of precision machined parts. The successful candidate must be hard working, hands on, and highly motivated and willing to learn and perform the following: Conduct incoming, setup, in-process and final inspection inspections. Competency measuring tight tolerance machined product with micrometers, depth gages, drop indicators, comparators, thread gauges and related precision and attribute measurement equipment. Read technical blue prints and geometric tolerance. 3+ years of solid layout inspection experience in a screw machine environment. Understand and follow designated ISO and company procedures, work instructions and forms. Utilize Microsoft windows, Excel and Word documents along with other computerized ISO documentation and reporting systems. Must be capable of performing labor intensive activities if necessary (moving boxes, being on feet the entire day). Must have proper mental aptitude to continually and quickly learn new things and be adaptable to changing environments. Previous experience with Gagetrak 6 Calibration software, calibrating micrometers and thread gages, and completing PPAP documentation a plus.
