About the Role Syserco is seeking a highly motivated, warehouse associate who will be involved in Panel fabrication, general warehouse duties and delivering of job materials to various sites in the area. Must be organized and service oriented- training for panel building can be provided.
Responsible for:
Constructing low voltage Building Automation Control Panels, Material inventory, and the delivery of tools and materials to our field projects.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
Lay out and build Electrical panels with terminal blocks, wire duct, and control devices. Training can be provided. Deliver a wide variety of items to different addresses and through different routes Follow route and time schedule Receive and stock materials, maintain inventory control. Load, unload, prepare, inspect and operate delivery vehicle Deliver and unload internal packages to office personnel Assist with taking vehicles in for maintenance and service Adhere to company policies, procedures, HR, Safety Plan and others
SKILLS AND ABILITIES
General Computer skills/windows/email MS Word/Excel Ability to read and follow assembly instructions Familiarity and ability to work with cordless tools and hand tools Ability to drive and operate a vehicle Must be punctual and work within business hours and scheduled breaks Excellent verbal communication Ability to work independently Work effectively with all levels of employees and under general supervision
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Operation of standard office equipment including utilizing pertinent software applications and use of computer equipment for extended periods of time. Moderate to heavy physical activity performing essential job site work. May be required to sit, stand, bend, climb and lift, push or carry items less than 50 lbs. around office and job sites.
Q UALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma Valid IL drivers' license with ability to drive and operate a vehicle
