Company thyssenkrupp integrated its Forging & Machining and Undercarriage businesses to start the new business unit Forged Technologies. With roughly 7,000 employees at 18 production sites in seven different countries, thyssenkrupp Forged Technologies has sales of over one billion euros and operates over 50 forging press lines and more than 150 machining and assembly lines in seven countries. The product portfolio includes undercarriage systems for heavy machinery as well as crankshafts, connecting rods, pistons, chassis products, transmission systems and rotor shafts for the automotive industry. Your responsibilities Track and record parts for inspection
Perform necessary inspection of parts such as checks of pin and main spacing, diameter, throw and index, straightness, taper, true position, lateral locations, bolt hole, and etch
Ensure accuracy of CMM and Adcole machines; make necessary programming adjustments
Approve parts that pass inspection; communicate with team leaders regarding bad parts and retest new samples Your profile Education/Credentials/Certifications/Length of Experience
High School Diploma or Equivalent
A combination of over two years of directly related education, training, and/or experience is desired for this position
Previous manufacturing experience preferred
Experience in crankshaft industry is a plus
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
Ability to learn tasks and skills required in the gauge lab
Previous manufacturing experience
Experience with troubleshooting
Ability to read blueprints and conversion charts
Ability to use measurement tools
Knowledge of GD & T symbols
Basic mathematical ability: understanding of trigonometry is helpful
Ability to follow step by step procedures
