Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY
Support customer quality requirements, gather customer claims information, perform internal audits, product quality inspection, monitor and maintain calibration system. Provide backup to the Quality Supervisor in maintenance of IDENTCO management systems documentation. Support the Quality Supervisor and quality department objectives. Essential Functions Statement(s)
  • Conduct various inspections and tests on raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to ensure they meet specifications. (PPAP's, FAI)
  • Maintain detailed records of all inspections, tests, and any quality-related issues.
  • Collaborate and report quality findings to relevant teams and management, highlighting any deviations from standards.
  • Participate in root cause analysis and contribute to finding solutions to quality problems.
  • Suggest and implement improvements to production processes to enhance quality.
  • Maintain calibration equipment records used in the quality control process and validate inspection controls
  • Training other employees on quality procedures and best practices. Authority
  • Correct and stop any dangerous activity that may cause damage to the product, process, personnel and / or environment.
Position Qualifications Experience in using measuring tools, testing equipment, and interpreting technical drawing A keen eye for identifying even minor defects or deviations from standards. Ability to analyze issues, identify root causes, and propose effective solutions. Effective communication skills to clearly convey quality findings and collaborate with others. Ability to accurately record and document all quality-related information. Ability to work effectively with others in a team environment. Competencies Required Problem Solving

Skills & Abilities Education:
Associate degree in a technical field (or equivalent experience)
