Quality Coordinator

Reports To:

Quality Manager Summary Primary responsibility of managing initial containment of non-conforming product, intermediate product certification and on-going communication thru all stages of the process with the customer and internal departments. Monitor and track concerns to ensure timely and effective closure. Position Responsibilities

• Assist, as needed, with customer containment activities, communication throughout the organization, and updating information into customer portals
• Assist with management of nonconforming inventory. Provide technical review of reported nonconformances, validate inspections & measurements, contribute to dispositions.
• Certify or audit inventory as needed for certified release of products
• Lead tracking of internal and external complaints and reported nonconformances
• Complete self-assessment audits from customers
• Respond to customer compliance information requests (CQI's, CMRT/EMRT's, Certifications, etc.)
• Manage Layered Process Audit (LPA) program internally
• Serve as internal auditor (IATF 16949, ISO 14001, VDA 6.3, etc.)
• Assist with recordkeeping requirements in accordance with expectations of regulatory standards
• Act as liaison with internal sort department as needed. Communicate information, summarize sort results, expedite when necessary.
• Participate in internal Material Review Board (MRB) meetings. Document meeting information within quality database for record-keeping Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
• Ability to communicate with internal and external customers
• Process improvement and problem solving skills
• Ability to multi-task effectively and achieve target completion dates Education and Experience 1-4 years experience with customer service & handling customer complaints 1-4 years experience in logistics, material management or quality Experience in a manufacturing environment a plus.

Bilingual English and Spanish is a plus.
