Quality Manager Supervises:
None Works independently or with minimal supervision 90% of the time.
Job Summary:
The Timewell's Quality Technician must have a strong sense of ownership to the quality program and the product and must be able to effectively communicate with employees at all levels of the company. The primary role for this position is to walk loads before they leave the lot to ensure the product is correct according to pick ticket and up to Timewell standards. With added roles in the plant and backfill as needed. Hours will be 6p-6a
Responsibilities:
Performs ASTM testing Write and maintain accurate records Evaluate product testing failures and recommend changes to the pipe and/or gasket specifications to improve product performance Maintain all testing equipment Support both quality department when needed Maintain a safe, neat, and clean work area Suggest areas for improvement in internal or yard processes along with possible solutions Prompt, timely, effective communication to management regarding problems with projects and process equipment Other duties as assigned by the Quality Manager, on an as needed basis
Requirements/Qualifications:
Must be able to work and complete projects independently Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Ability to work weekends when needed Conscientious attention to detail and quality Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with co-workers and supervisors Ability to work full time schedule with overtime as needed
