Full Job Description Description:
Component Supply is hiring 1 line lead to head the assembly teams in the production of automotive parts. The line lead will be responsible for ensuring all products are made to customer specification and all target numbers are met. The Line lead will work with the other department assemblers to produce parts efficiently and productively. Line lead would fall under the Assembly Team and provide support in day to day production of automotive and specialty parts The line lead will start as an assembler to learn the entire process. Once they have been deemed qualified and pass the line lead test, we will move them up to the Inspector role.
Responsibilities/Duties:
Will be responsible for making sure all product is shipped out without defects. Prepares work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions and parts lists; gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials. Positions parts and subassemblies by using templates or reading measurements. Verifies part conformance through visual inspection Packages and labels parts per customer requirement Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. Manage a team of 2-3 assemblers to ensure daily quota has been met and assemblers are building per Work instructions Maintains supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. Reports and records daily numbers and defects into computer system Confirms all product is set to customer specific standard
