This position plays an important role in ensuring medical equipment is properly cleaned, tested, documented, and ready for patient use. The QA Technician is also responsible for supporting equipment tracking, preventative maintenance, inventory accuracy, warehouse organization, and compliance standards. This is a hands-on position that is a great fit for someone who takes pride in their work, pays close attention to detail, and enjoys keeping equipment and processes organized. Responsibilities Inspect, clean, test, and prepare medical equipment for patient use. Verify equipment is functioning properly and meets cleanliness and quality standards. Properly tag, label, scan, and document equipment. Track oxygen equipment preventative maintenance requirements and due dates. Complete preventative maintenance on equipment located in the warehouse. Coordinate with Dispatch when equipment in the field requires preventative maintenance or service. Maintain accurate equipment and inventory records. Process equipment movement, staging, and tracking within inventory systems. Identify inventory discrepancies, missing accessories, and equipment concerns. Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient warehouse environment. Ensure equipment is properly stored and staged. Identify supply needs and communicate when items need to be ordered. Help maintain warehouse compliance with company and accreditation standards. Assist with operational audits and accreditation readiness. Report equipment hazards, incidents, or other operational concerns. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Dependable with the ability to work independently and stay on task. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Comfortable using computers and learning inventory and equipment-tracking systems. Ability to work effectively as part of a team. Previous quality assurance, medical equipment/HME, equipment maintenance, or technical/factory experience is preferred but not required. No certifications are required. Physical Requirements Ability to regularly stand, walk, and work with equipment throughout the day. Ability to safely lift and move equipment weighing up to 100 pounds as needed for inspection and processing.
