Job Title:
Quality Inspector $30-35/hr- 1st shift Job Description Join our team as a Quality Inspector, where you will play a crucial role in ensuring product quality and compliance withISO 9001
2015 standards. This position operates on the 1st shift from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, Monday through Friday. Overtime on Saturdays is rare but may be required based on business needs. Responsibilities Conduct incoming, in-process, and final inspection of parts and raw materials using variable and attribute gaging and visual inspection. Utilize equipment such as micrometers, calipers, optical comparators, vision systems, scales, and magnetic testing equipment for inspections. Manage inspected material in the ERP system and track lot numbers. Maintain gage calibration systems, ensuring gages are calibrated before expiration. Oversee gage inventory management and train manufacturing personnel in proper gage usage. Control ITAR print and documentation, and conduct corrective/preventative root cause analysis. Facilitate capability studies, quality audits, and control non-conforming material. Participate in continuous improvement activities and generate Certificates of Conformance as per customer requirements. Conduct First Article Inspection, AS9102, AIAG layouts, and incoming inspection reports based on customer prints and engineering standards. Assess BH Curves for compliance with customer prints. Essential Skills Working knowledge ofISO 9001
2015. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, ERP systems (EPICOR preferred), and TEAMS. Ability to read prints and understand GD&T. Basic computer skills, including data entry and math involving decimals and fractions. Strong analytical thinking and ability to work independently. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with powdered metal and magnet materials is preferred. Familiarity with aviation quality standards is beneficial but not required.
