Job Description

Quality Inspector Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Inspector to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that products meet the required quality standards and comply with regulations. This role involves utilizing precision measuring instruments, conducting quality audits, and maintaining quality management systems to ensure the highest level of product integrity.
Role and Responsibilities Performs Inspections:
in-process, incoming for hardware and material, final, outside processing, outside manufacturing, and part mark as needed. Trains inspectors and machine operators on inspection processes, as needed. Communicates daily with supervisors and management to address priorities. Identifies road blocks and process improvements to current process to reduce cycle times. Reviews non-conforming product with manager/QEs. Collects contributing factors for any scrap occurrences during their shift. Attend Department and Company Meetings. Perform all duties in accordance with Dynamic NC Quality Management System and Safety standards, using situation-appropriate tools and protective equipment as applicable. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications and Education Requirements High school diploma / GED. 5 years previous inspection experience in manufacturing environment. Good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Organized, focused, and results-oriented. Excellent problem solving and prioritizing ability.
Proficient with Microsoft Office products:
Outlook, Word, Excel. Ability to read and interpret aerospace bill of materials, engineering drawings, customer specifications and instructions. Has capability to troubleshoot complex and questionable inspections by asking the right questions to get to the root cause of the problem. Knowledge/training of aerospace sealing, electrical bond, hardness, conductivity, assembly requirements and machining. Team oriented with a continuous improvement outlook. Able to use measuring instruments including but not limited to calipers, height gage, isoscope, scales, etc. Knowledge of CATIA and other CAD/CAM software. Work Conditions Hand/finger dexterity. Visual acuity. Ability to lift and carry materials. Ability to stand for extended periods of time. Well-lit, temperature-controlled, clean environment. Adhere to employee handbook.
