Description:

Seeking an Inspector / Quality Manager for a local growing machine shop. The Inspector / Quality Manager is responsible for ensuring that products meet customer, regulatory, and company quality standards. This Inspector / Quality Manager role combines hands-on inspection activities with quality engineering functions, including process auditing, root cause analysis, corrective actions, quality system maintenance, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Duties:

Read blueprints, engineering drawings, specifications, and work instructions to determine quality requirements Inspect incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products for conformance to specifications Approve or reject raw materials, components, and finished products Inspect production samples using measuring equipment, testing devices, and inspection methods Determine and track quality metrics for manufacturing processes and product performance Audit quality systems and manufacturing processes to ensure compliance with

ISO 9001

2015 requirements and company standards Update and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS), including incidents, corrective actions, and process improvements

Job Requirements:

3+ years of inspection experience in aerospace manufacturing or machining 3+ years of using FARO Arm and/or Romer Arm inspection equipment 3+ years of First Article Inspection (FAI) experience Experience with Quality Management Systems and AS9100 and

ISO 9001

quality standards 3+ years of Verisurf software experience 3+ years of GD&T interpretation and application experience Ability to lift up to 25 lbs
