If you want to learn quality in a real manufacturing environment, this is a solid place to start. The Role This is a full-time hands-on, floor-based quality position. You'll be inspecting incoming materials, supporting in-process inspections on the production line, and helping maintain our calibration program for precision measuring tools. You'll work directly alongside the Quality Manager and get exposure to engineering drawings, quality documentation, and manufacturing processes from day one. This isn't a desk job. You'll spend most of your time on the floor, which is where the learning happens. What You'll Be Doing Inspect incoming materials and components: check dimensions, review specs, and document findings Perform initial reviews of customer-returned products and help document findings for engineering follow-up Calibrate hand tools (calipers, micrometers, fixtures) and help keep the calibration schedule on track Assist with in-process inspections at various production stages, referencing drawings and work instructions Support data collection for quality metrics and help maintain accurate records in our quality system You won't be thrown in alone. Senior quality staff and the Quality Manager are accessible and hands-on. What We're Looking For Associate's degree in Engineering Technology, Industrial Technology, Manufacturing, or a related field Basic familiarity with quality or measurement concepts, whether from coursework, a co-op, or an internship Ability to read engineering drawings and work instructions (or a willingness to learn with training provided) Comfortable with Microsoft Excel and Word; willing to learn quality management software Detail-oriented, a clear communicator, and easy to work with Electrical wiring or manufacturing floor experience is a plus, but not required Pre-employment background check and drug screen required We'll train the right person.
