Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Quality Specialist to join our manufacturing team. - Responsible for assisting Quality Manager in development and review of APQP, PPAP, and
ISO-TS 16949
documentation
- Lead role in preparation and maintenance of process inspection instructions, reports, and quality alerts
- Address, investigate, and resolve customer quality concerns.
- Accountable to original equipment manufacturers (OEM)/customers; must respond to their requests for visits, document updates, audits, etc.
- Ensure quality processes are stable and meeting customer expectations
- Maintain statistical process controls, evaluate and apply metrology/statistical methods to diagnose and correct quality deficiencies
- Must be capable of and confident with making judgement calls, both cosmetic and dimensional, during the part verification process, including color judgement
- Develop and maintain quality standards through keeping up-to-date standardized work chart (SWC) changes
- Participate in any/all required meetings; root cause, 5-Why, PFS, internal/cross-functional, etc.
- Review customer websites for updates and suggest any mandatory training
- Schedule follow up meetings with suppliers to support improvement initiatives
- Supplier audits: on site audit at the suppliers, review corrective actions, perform sourcing audits, follow up for improvements, work on support and level up of suppliers that require support
- Assist at implementing quality on the assembly lines
- Evaluate data and writes reports to validate or indicate deviations from existing standards
- Prepare graphs or charts of data and enter data into computer for analysis
- Maintain organized and up-to-date records in accordance with the Vuteq System requirement
Qualifications:
- Must possess a HS/GED diploma, with the ability to read, write and communicate in English to comprehend and follow written procedures
- Working knowledge of PPAP, APQP, PFMEA, and other quality related documents
- Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to adapt to changing demands of production from customers and team member issues
- Strong interpersonal skills; able to speak in front of groups of people, and ability to effectively communicate information with varying levels of individuals (both team members and management groups)

This position requires physical exertion. The employee will regularly walk and frequently stand, walk, reach, or kneel. The employee may occasionally lift and/or move objects weighing up to 20 pounds.
Pay:
$55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per hour Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
