Quality Control Technician | Night Shift | $21/
Hour Location:
Harrodsburg, KY Pay:
$21.00 per hour

6:00 PM - 6:00

Manufacturing Make Quality Your Priority! Are you detail-oriented, analytical, and passionate about getting things right? We are looking for a Quality Control Technician to join our manufacturing team on the night shift. In this role, you'll perform critical quality testing, monitor production processes, document results, and work closely with the production team to ensure products consistently meet established specifications and quality standards. What You'll Do Quality Testing & Monitoring Perform and document quality control testing, including viscosity, pH, stir plate/mixing, and moisture testing . Conduct retention checks and accurately record results. Compare test results against established product specifications. Identify and promptly communicate out-of-spec results, trends, or unusual findings. Monitor production processes to help maintain consistent product quality. Data & Documentation Accurately enter test results into logs, forms, and computer databases. Maintain complete and accurate quality documentation. Monitor data and identify production trends or changes over time. Teamwork & Communication Work closely with production team members to ensure specifications and procedures are consistently followed. Communicate quality concerns, deviations, and potential issues clearly and promptly. Participate in team meetings and cross-functional updates as needed. Safety & Production Floor Monitoring Regularly monitor the production floor to ensure safety and quality procedures are being followed. Verify proper PPE is being worn and report safety concerns or violations. Reinforce safety, hygiene, and quality standards throughout the facility. What We're Looking For High school diploma or equivalent required . Some college coursework or technical training in a related field is a plus. Previous quality control or manufacturing experience preferred, but not required . Basic understanding of laboratory testing procedures and equipment is helpful; training will be provided . Basic computer skills and accurate data-entry abilities. Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills. Analytical mindset with the ability to identify issues and trends. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Reliable, punctual, and accountable. Willingness to learn and take ownership of your work. Physical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods. Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Why This Opportunity?
