Quality Specialist I Location:
Broussard, LA Pay:
$20.00 - $24.00 per hour (DOE)
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Overtime as needed)

Full-Time Join Our Team! We're seeking a detail-oriented Quality Specialist I to join a growing manufacturing team in Broussard, LA . Responsibilities As a Quality Specialist I, you will: Perform basic visual and dimensional inspections on products and materials. Follow
ISO 9001
quality standards and document control procedures. Assist with internal and external audit preparation and observations. Document nonconformances and communicate findings to leadership. Complete quality forms, reports, and inspection checklists accurately. Follow and understand standard operating procedures (SOPs). Participate in root cause discussions and continuous improvement efforts. Suggest minor process improvements to enhance quality and efficiency. Maintain compliance with company quality requirements. Communicate effectively with team members across departments. Participate in ongoing training and professional development. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate degree preferred. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Good verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work well independently and as part of a team. Positive attitude and willingness to learn. Manufacturing or quality experience is a plus but not required. Physical Requirements Moderate physical activity.
Approximately:
50% sitting 25% walking 25% standing Ability to lift, carry, push, and/or pull up to 50 pounds. Steel-toe boots required while working in the warehouse. Safety glasses required in designated work areas. Training Provided The selected candidate will receive hands-on training from the Quality Supervisor, including: Basic visual and dimensional inspections Documentation of nonconformances Quality documentation and inspection checklists
