Job Description

General Job Description:
Quality Control Personnel is responsible for sampling and grading raw materials and finished product to ensure compliance with customer requirements and that any such analysis conforms to recognized standards.
Requirements:
Must understand and follow company Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and Personnel Practices. Must understand and explain the use and requirements of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Work 8-12 hours per day depending on the shift rotation. Keep area clean by sweeping and/or vacuuming as needed. Must be willing to learn milled rice grading procedures. Work in a dusty environment while handling bulky and heavy materials while exposed to seasonal not and cold temperatures. Be willing and physically capable of performing other tasks within different departments of the mill on a temporary basis as needed. Abide by all safety regulations and standards established by Supreme Rice. Must report all food safety issues to personnel with authority to initiate action. Portion of this job may require you to lift material weighing up to 50 lb. Perform other duties directed by your Supervisor. Must be able to fulfill essential job function in a consistent state of alertness and safe manner.
