5:00am-3:00pm (Mon-Fri) Join a dynamic team in the Food & Beverage industry as a QA Tech, ensuring product quality and safety standards are met. This role offers a hands-on opportunity to contribute to food safety initiatives, laboratory testing, and packaging quality assurance in a fast-paced environment. It's an excellent chance for candidates passionate about quality and food safety to grow their career. This position is located in Monroe, WI and has the opportunity for hire, QA Tech Responsibilities include but are not limited to:- Perform quality audits on packaging lines to verify adherence to standards.
- Operate laboratory equipment and conduct chemical and microbiological analyses of raw and finished products.
- Collect environmental and on-site samples for monitoring purposes.
- Verify product compliance with master specifications and maintain accurate documentation of quality checks.
- Conduct facility pre-operation inspections, swab sampling, and environmental monitoring.
- Support food safety programs by identifying issues, documenting corrective actions, and reporting findings to supervisors.
- Prepare and update Device Monitoring Reports (DMRs) and support other QA-related activities as needed.
QA Tech Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent; specialized training in Food Technology or Laboratory Sciences preferred.
- Quality assurance experience in a food production environment is an advantage.
- Ability to lift and push/pull up to 50 lbs. regularly, with physical ability to stand for at least 8 hours.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and good communication abilities.
- Proficient manual dexterity for laboratory tasks.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions consistently in a fast-paced setting.
