Job Description

Quality Control Inspector Location:
North Billerica, MA Pay:
$25 to $28 per hour
Hours:
M-F, 8:30AM to 5:00PM Full Time, Temp to Perm Position Overview Our client is seeking a self-motivated and detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector to assist with the development and execution of the incoming inspection process within our ball bearing production services. This role is responsible for performing product inspection to ensure applicable requirements are met. Duties & Responsibilities
  • Utilize measuring equipment to perform product conformance verification.
  • Perform inspection activities to appropriate sampling plans or 100% inspection as required.
  • Document identified defects to create retainable records of nonconformances.
  • Read and interpret documentations defining requirements, including geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T)
  • Provide traceable verification steps to the extent needed.
  • Perform First Article Inspection compliant to AS9102
  • Scrutinize packaging, product, and documentation provided by suppliers to identify suspect counterfeit products.
  • Record nonconformance data and assist in the mitigation of defect occurrences to improve customer satisfaction. Qualifications & Experience
  • 1-2 years of manufacturing inspection experience (up to 5 years preferred).
  • Experience using measurement equipment including calipers and pin gauges.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and customer specifications.
  • Understanding of inspection methods and quality documentation practices.
  • Ability to independently determine whether products meet established requirements.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong ability to solve problems.
  • Experience working in an AS9100 compliant environment (preferred, not required)
  • Familiarity with AS9102 First Article Inspection Reports (preferred, not required).
Pay:
$25.00 - $28.00 per hour
