Job Description
The Executive Office of Education is seeking a detail-oriented QA Analyst for a 12-month contract position based in Everett, Massachusetts. This role will support and maintain Background Record Check (BRC) applications through functional testing, production support, and assistance to the Contact Center and Background Record Check Staff, ensuring high system reliability, data integrity, and an exceptional user experience for internal and external stakeholders. Responsibilities Provide expert quality assurance services for Background Record Check applications Perform and lead tests to ensure that all systems meet minimum standards and requirements Work closely with the applications team to identify and resolve quality issues Create complex test data for applications' documents testing scenarios Devise improvements to current procedures and develop models of possible future configurations Perform complex workflow analysis and recommend improvements Qualifications Required Proficiency with SQL Knowledge of automated testing techniques Experience with JIRA, including Xray Foundational administrative task capabilities Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills Professional communication abilities
