About the Role As a Quality Assurance Technician, you will play a critical role in maintaining the integrity of high-precision components by ensuring all parts meet rigorous engineering standards. You will leverage your technical expertise in metrology and documentation to drive continuous improvement in our manufacturing processes and final product quality. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive inspections, including first-article, in-process, and final evaluations, to guarantee strict adherence to quality assurance benchmarks. Manage the creation and digital archiving of detailed inspection reports based on complex customer blueprints and technical specifications. Maintain precise quality control records, including non-conforming material logs, process travelers, and statistical control charts. Interpret complex blueprints, process specifications, and technical sketches to execute accurate inspection procedures. Ensure all measurement equipment and precision tools are properly calibrated and maintained according to established standards. Collaborate with production teams to resolve quality discrepancies and support the delivery of high-quality machined components. Qualifications Required Skills High School diploma or GED equivalent. Demonstrated proficiency in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) and the ability to interpret complex fabrication drawings. Strong computer literacy, including MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and experience with MRP software systems. Advanced shop math skills with a high level of attention to detail. Must meet ITAR requirements as a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident. Preferred Skills Technical certification in manufacturing technology or ASQ Certified Inspector status. Experience with Zeiss Calypso CMM software programming and operation. Familiarity with aerospace quality standards such as AS9100, AS9102, and ASTM requirements. Ability to apply trigonometry formulas for complex measurement calculations.
