About RF Venue RF Venue develops hardware and software solutions that improve wireless audio system performance for live sound, broadcast, installed AV, and production environments. We are a nimble, collaborative team where individuals have a direct impact on product quality, reliability, and customer satisfaction. This role provides a unique opportunity to work across quality assurance, engineering support, and manufacturing. Position Overview We are seeking a Quality Technician to support product quality across incoming inspection, in-process verification, and final product validation. This role is critical to ensuring that RF Venue products meet performance, reliability, and customer expectations. This position is best suited for someone who is detail-oriented, technically capable, and comfortable working with electronic assemblies and test equipment. Key ResponsibilitiesIncoming Inspection
  • Inspect incoming components and materials against specifications and drawings
  • Verify supplier documentation and certifications as required
  • Identify and document nonconforming materials In-Process & Final Inspection
  • Perform functional and visual inspections of assemblies and finished products
  • Execute defined test procedures and record results accurately
  • Ensure products meet electrical, mechanical, and cosmetic standards Test & Measurement
  • Operate and maintain test equipment (multimeters, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, RF test setups, etc.)
  • Set up and execute repeatable test configurations
  • Assist engineering with validation and verification testing as needed Nonconformance & Corrective Action
  • Document and track nonconforming materials and products
  • Support root cause analysis efforts with clear data and observations
  • Assist in implementing corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) Documentation & Reporting
  • Maintain accurate inspection records and quality logs
  • Generate basic quality reports and summaries
  • Ensure traceability of inspected materials and products Continuous Improvement
  • Identify recurring quality issues and escalate appropriately
  • Suggest improvements to inspection methods and test processes
  • Support efforts to improve product consistency and manufacturability Required Qualifications
  • Associate degree in Electronics, Quality Systems, or related field — or equivalent hands-on experience
  • 2-5 years of experience in a quality technician or electronics test role
  • Ability to read schematics, drawings, and BOMs
  • Experience using electronic test equipment
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Clear documentation and communication skills Preferred Qualifications (Not Required)
  • Experience in electronics manufacturing or RF products
  • Familiarity with ISO-based quality systems
  • Experience with contract manufacturers or supplier quality
  • Basic understanding of RF concepts and measurements Key Traits for Success
