•4:00 PM We are seeking a "QC Inspector" to join one of our leading healthcare clients. Position Summary Performs inspection and testing of purchased materials, components, and products in accordance with established policies and procedures. Assists Supplier Quality Engineering with technical inspection support. Essential Functions Performs visual, dimensional, and functional inspection and testing according to documented policies and procedures. Records inspection and test data as prescribed by written instructions and procedures. Operates all associated test and measurement equipment as instructed and documented in procedures. Supports validation and qualification activities. Develops and recommends changes to inspection procedures. Demonstrates proficiency in SAP with respect to incoming material QC requirements. Recommends changes to policies, procedures, and inspection requirements. Collects and analyzes data for First Article Inspections (FAI). Performs testing and inspection in accordance with special test requests. Contributes to test and measurement equipment selection. Interfaces with suppliers as required in support of material quality and technical inspection. May train other inspection staff on the use of equipment. Assists in gathering, analyzing, and trending data. Additional Responsibilities Performs miscellaneous duties and work assignments as required. Key Skills & Qualifications Quality Control (QC) inspection experience. Visual, dimensional, and functional inspection knowledge. Experience with test and measurement equipment. SAP proficiency, particularly related to incoming material quality requirements. Data collection, analysis, and reporting skills. Ability to work with suppliers and cross-functional teams.
