6am-4pm Mon-Thur and 6am-3pm Friday Our client is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Quality Inspector to join our team. The Quality Inspector will play a crucial role in ensuring the adherence to quality standards and procedures throughout our manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year of experience in quality inspection, with a strong understanding of ISO9001/2015 and AS9100D standards. Proficiency in operating Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) and Inspection Arm/Scanner is highly desirable.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform thorough inspections of incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products to verify conformance with specifications and quality standards. Utilize measuring tools, such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and gauging fixtures, to conduct accurate and precise measurements. Operate Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) and Inspection Arm/Scanner to inspect complex parts and assemblies. Conduct visual inspections to identify any defects, abnormalities, or non-conformities in products or materials. Document inspection results and maintain accurate records of inspections, including detailed reports and data analysis. Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions to address non-conformities. Participate in root cause analysis investigations to determine the cause of quality issues and assist in implementing effective preventive measures. Ensure compliance with ISO9001/2015 and AS9100D standards and actively contribute to maintaining and improving the quality management system. Communicate effectively with production personnel, engineers, and other stakeholders to address quality concerns and provide guidance on quality requirements. Stay updated on industry best practices, new inspection techniques, and emerging quality standards.

Secret Clearance Education and Years of Experience:
High School/GED and Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality inspection within a manufacturing environment. Proficiency in operating Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) and Inspection Arm/Scanner is preferred. Strong knowledge and understanding of ISO9001/2015 and AS9100D standards. Familiarity with inspection techniques, tools, and equipment such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, gauging fixtures, etc. Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation. Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong organizational and time management abilities to handle multiple inspection tasks and meet deadlines. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Proficiency in using computer software for data entry, analysis and report generation. $34 - $34 an hour There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, geographic location, education, and certifications.
