Auburn Hills, MI Area We are seeking a Quality Technician (2nd Shift) to support inspection and quality assurance activities in a manufacturing environment. This role ensures products meet engineering specifications and supports quality systems that improve reliability, manufacturing efficiency, and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities Perform accurate inspections of parts and assemblies per engineering specifications Read and interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and technical documentation Identify, document, and communicate non-conformances (written and verbal) Review and disposition non-conforming material and related transactions Communicate quality issues to suppliers, buyers, and engineering teams Support and track corrective actions through completion Use inspection and measuring tools; perform basic calibration checks Operate CMM equipment (joystick-controlled) as required Support additional quality functions including workmanship and packaging standards Qualifications High school diploma or GED required Minimum 3 years of experience in quality assurance or inspection Experience in machining, machine building, or assembly preferred Strong ability to read engineering drawings and GD&T Hands-on experience with inspection and measuring tools Familiarity with structured problem-solving methods CMM experience preferred (Modus or Verisurf a plus) Strong communication, organization, and follow-up skills Ability to work independently while meeting KPI expectations Reliable attendance and strong work ethic •Apply today for immediate consideration.
