Job Description
Job Summary (Overview) Visual and dimensional inspector of abrasives for honing tools. Job Description 100% visual and dimensional inspection of abrasive stones. Ensure correct diamond size and correct compound is used in manufacturing. Etch part numbers onto stones. Package and label for inventory or sales. Required Skills and Education No formal education is required. Experience with basic shop tools and supplies. Profeciency with micrometers and calipers. Must follow written work instructions. Attention to detail. Work Environment / Physical Demands Work is performed in manufacturing setting with exposure to machinery, noise, and temperature variations. This role requires regular walking, standing, bending, and lifting of materials or equipment, and employees must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. while following all safety procedures and PPE requirements.
