Quality Technician Advance Turning & Manufacturing, Inc. is seeking a Quality Technician to join our growing team at our three Jackson, MI facilities. - Experience interpreting engineering drawings and GD&T
- Hands-on proficiency with CMMs, vision systems, and a variety of gaging tools
- Working knowledge of ISO 9001, AS9100, and
ISO 13485
quality standards- Familiarity with machining methods and processes
- Strong problem-solving and multitasking skills in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Excellent communication and collaboration across departments
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
- 1+ years of experience in a quality inspection or technician role
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and quality specs Job Summary As a Quality Technician, you'll ensure that products meet customer and regulatory standards through inspection, documentation, and support of our quality systems. You'll be a key point of contact between production and management to uphold precision, consistency, and compliance. Key Responsibilities
- Inspect raw material, in-process, and finished parts for defects, accuracy, and compliance
- Use precision measurement tools, CMMs, and visual systems for dimensional verification
- Perform audits and quality checks within production areas
- Identify and document non-conformances and work with teams to resolve quality issues
- Prepare and maintain required documentation (PPAPs, C of C, FAR, etc.)
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams on quality concerns
- Assist with training of new Quality Technicians and support continuous improvement efforts
