Quality Technician Advance Turning & Manufacturing, Inc. is seeking a Quality Technician to join our growing team at our three Jackson, MI facilities. What We're Looking For Preferred Qualifications:
Experience interpreting engineering drawings and GD&T Hands-on proficiency with CMMs, vision systems, and a variety of gaging tools Working knowledge of ISO 9001, AS9100, and
ISO 13485
quality standards Familiarity with machining methods and processes Strong problem-solving and multitasking skills in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Excellent communication and collaboration across departments
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED 1+ years of experience in a quality inspection or technician role Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and quality specs
Job Summary:
As a Quality Technician, you'll ensure that products meet customer and regulatory standards through inspection, documentation, and support of our quality systems. You'll be a key point of contact between production and management to uphold precision, consistency, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Inspect raw material, in-process, and finished parts for defects, accuracy, and compliance Use precision measurement tools, CMMs, and visual systems for dimensional verification Perform audits and quality checks within production areas Identify and document non-conformances and work with teams to resolve quality issues Prepare and maintain required documentation (PPAPs, C of C, FAR, etc.) Collaborate with engineering and production teams on quality concerns Assist with training of new Quality Technicians and support continuous improvement efforts Ensure safe work practices and adherence to company quality standards Benefits at
